Annual Movement Checkup

A single visit · private pay

A yearly physical for the way you move. Catch small limitations before they become injuries. The preventive habit your body deserves.

You see a physician once a year. Your movement deserves the same. The Annual Movement Checkup is a comprehensive screen of strength, mobility, balance, and gait, identifying the small asymmetries and weaknesses that, left unchecked, become the falls and injuries of later years.

What it looks like

1

A complete baseline

We measure how you move today across strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance, so changes can be tracked year over year.

2

Early answers

Small limitations are far easier to correct than the injuries they cause. The checkup finds them while they are still small.

3

A clear path forward

You leave with a written, personalized plan to maintain strength, mobility, and independence.

Highlights

  • Full-body movement and balance screen
  • Falls-risk and mobility assessment
  • A written plan to stay strong and independent
  • Ideal as preventive care at any age

Home Safety Review

A room-by-room review of the home itself, covering grab bars, lighting, thresholds, and alarms, so that the place someone lives in stops working against them.

Most falls happen at home, in rooms people have crossed safely for decades. What changes is not the house but the body moving through it, and the house is usually the easier of the two to fix. A home safety review walks the whole place with a physical therapist's eye: where a grab bar would actually help and at what height, which rug or threshold is a trip waiting to happen, whether the light between the bed and the bathroom is enough at three in the morning, and whether a call alarm is in place and within reach of the floor rather than the wall.

What it looks like

1

Walked, not surveyed from a list

The review follows the routes a person actually takes: bed to bathroom, chair to kitchen, front door to street. A checklist filled in from the doorway misses the things that only show up when you watch someone move.

2

For families who cannot be there

If your parents live in another state, this is a way to know what their home is really like, not what they tell you over the phone. You get an honest written account of what is safe, what is not, and what is worth changing first, from someone who was actually in the room.

3

Ranked, and realistic

Findings come back in order of what matters most, separating the changes that genuinely reduce risk from the ones that only look reassuring. Nothing is sold or installed here. The recommendations are yours to act on however you choose.

Highlights

  • Grab bars, rails, and bathroom safety: placement, not guesswork
  • Lighting, thresholds, flooring, and clutter
  • Alarms and call systems: in place, and reachable
  • A written report, so the family can act on it

Strength & Conditioning

Ongoing coaching · private pay

Beyond rehabilitation: building lasting strength, endurance, and resilience, guided by a certified triathlon and health coach.

Recovery is the beginning, not the end. Drawing on his background as a USA Triathlon certified coach and certified health coach, Chaim helps clients build durable strength and cardiovascular fitness, whether returning to sport, staying active into later years, or simply moving through life with more ease.

What it looks like

1

Trained, not just treated

Once you are out of pain, the goal becomes capacity: building a body that is strong, mobile, and ready for what you ask of it.

2

Running, done properly

Whether you are starting from nothing or have run for years, the work is the same: make it efficient, make it pain-free, and make it something you want to keep doing. Form comes first: breathing, stance, and how the foot meets the ground. That is what decides whether running builds you up or wears you down.

3

Gear that works with you

Shoes and gear are part of the mechanics, not an afterthought. Getting them right for your stride and your feet removes a surprising share of the aches people assume are simply the price of running.

4

Coaching that knows your history

Because your therapist and your coach are the same person, your conditioning is always built on a safe, informed foundation.

5

For every kind of athlete

From competitive triathletes to grandparents who want to keep up with grandchildren. The principle is the same: train for the life you want.

Highlights

  • Progressive strength and endurance training
  • Running coaching: start, or run properly and pain-free
  • Guidance from a certified triathlon coach
  • Programs for athletes and active adults alike

Also helps with

  • Building strength, power, and endurance
